Due to the costs associated and the age of the pre 88 cars it is no longer viable for us to import them. All of our
efforts continue to get the EFI cars approved for Australia again.
Changes to 15 year old regulations announced - click here
Due to these changes no Mini's made after 31st December 1988 our now eligible for import.
Due to the current situation with 1991 - 2000 model EFI cars (see news), we have been importing and selling 1988, 1989 and 1990 Minis from Japan, however changes to the 15 year old import rules now means this has come to an end. We did have several cars from 89 & 90 that were available however these are all now spoken for.
Cars available in Japan -
We had a total of 25 Mini's in Japan that were imported to Australia over 2005. These cars included Mini 30's, Mayfair's, City's, Checkmate's and a few of unknown denomination.
